Happy Anniversary

I have been married 8 years to the day!  I would like to take a moment to honor my wife, Sydney.  Having 3 children and raising them nanny-free is what most people do (yes, I'm in touch with America at large), but it is hard.  My patience gets tested every time I'm on solo duty.

My girls hug and kiss me like crazy when I walk in at day's end, but trust me, when Sydney leaves for 10 minutes and returns, a homecoming parade breaks out. She is the burning furnace of love at the center of this family.

Perhaps her greatest accomplishment is loving me, because I don't always make it easy.  I can be temperamental, erratic, forgetful, but one thing is always true - I'm loyal and I love her.

The scariest thing in my life now is coming to terms with the fact that I NEED her.  For emotional balance, confidence, I need her to be strong and steady in her life for me.  So wind back that list of my faults and add "extremely needy" ...as well as a total wuss when I'm sick.

April 4th, 1998....Sydney Davis Bush saved my life and made me a winner.
