Nancy & Keith's First Anniversary
Just a few days ago, my husband, Keith, and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary. I must say that I never, ever knew that a relationship could be this good and wonderful, especially having gone through a divorce.
If you have been through a bad breakup, I am sure you can relate to the feeling I had right after: the feeling that "true" love just doesn't really exist - except in fairytales, of course. We all hear (rarely) of rock solid/best friend marriages, but we think they are a fluke and that we, ourselves, will never find them. Trust me, I was one of those thinkers before I met my husband.
But I am here today to tell you those fairytale relationships can happen in real life. With my one year wedding anniversary having just passed, I want to share this Redbook article I wrote a few months ago. If you have gone through a bad breakup or divorce, I hope this helps.
Don't give up on love, and know that it will come when the time is right for you. And when it is with the right person, it is such a blessing. I am as happy as I was on my wedding day. Actually, I take that back... I am even happier!!

Have been watching you on Access. Am so proud of you. Linda Vereen, you will remember, one of my best friends taught at Coastal Academy in Myrtle Beach and I was the Admin Officer when you went there. Best of luck to you and your husband on the new baby.

Congratulations on your 1st anniversary. I too am blessed with my soul mate and we will be married 14 years in May. I can honestly say it only gets better with time.

Congrats on finding "THE ONE". two years ago I found mine. Along with a intellectual,sweet little nine year old. I"ll be marrying both in may.
