Beyonce...what were you thinking?

You managed to end 2006 looking impeccable in Mr. Elie Saab's creations - 2007 is apparently a different story. Beyonce wore the designer’s gowns at five events she attended in ‘06...and she looked amazing each time, Access Hollywood even named her our #1 Style Star of 2006. Elie Saab is usually brilliant when it comes to designing red carpet gowns, but Beyonce's low-cut shiny gold number was tacky for the Globes.

It looked like it was made of plastic and it just looked plain cheap. My fellow Access fashion guru, Anthony, said it best..."It looked like she was back in Destiny's Child."

Cameron Diaz is getting hit hard in the fashion world for her choice of attire last night.

She decided to be daring in a one-shoulder white fitted bodice with a skirt made of tiers of white tulle, and now everyone is comparing her to Bjork's bird inspired number at the 2001 Oscars. Contrary to popular opinion, I think Cameron pulled it off. She looked statuesque in her fair colored ensemble. The black-jeweled empire waist, dark hair, and red lips tied her whole look together.

Putting the negativity aside, there were many stars who shined last night. Jennifer Lopez (always flawless on the red carpet) looked magical in Marchesa, Angelina Jolie achieved perfection in her grey chiffon St. John gown, Evangeline Lilly’s look was flowing and relaxed and her loose locks worked perfectly with the dress. Drew Barrymore looked simple and clean in pale pink, following closely to the color of the night: white.

Reese Witherspoon won for choosing a beautiful canary yellow Nina Ricci dress, which fit perfectly with her blonde hair and bright blue eyes. And Teri Hatcher looked anything but desperate, looking classic in Cavalli. My only advice to Teri is to leave the beanie-wearing, slip-on tennis shoes boyfriend at home next time.
