Clooney's Early Exit, Raving Over Reese & Follicle Free At The Oscars

Since I am the host of Grease on NBC, I had to pull major double duty yesterday as I did the interviews at the Governors' Ball for Access. With a little time to kill, I went to my favorite Sunday night haunt, Madeo, for dinner....

Five minutes after bidding farewell to my wife and eldest daughter in order to get to the Kodak theatre in time, George Clooney walked in. Yes, after presenting the Oscar to Jennifer Hudson, George ducked out a side door and went to get the night rolling.

My wife, goddaughter, and daughter Josie were still there and took a photo with him. My wife explained to George that she was married to me and DESPITE that, he graciously chatted with the girls and took pics.

I am not a fashion guy, but I can say with total assuredness that Reese Witherspoon is the most classic, natural beauty I remember ever seeing at the Oscars. Her straightened hair with the bangs was simple and pretty....no jewels needed when you're that soft and gorgeous.

Other than that, I was the one who identified the 'Bald is Beautiful' trend at the Oscars and made the call to run with it big on our show tonight.

Jack Nicholson was the centerpiece but add in 'the spoiler' Alan Arkin, big winner Forest Whitaker, the comeback kid Jackie Earle Haley, not to mention Britney and Oscar himself, and you begin to realize.... Bald is beautiful.

With that, I hope the follicly challenged out there walk a little taller today.

Billy,
I am the person in the white van, at UCLA that you gave the two Barbie bags to. Thank you so much! My 8 year old daughter that spotted you, has decided to give one to her 3 year old cousin, and one to her school silent auction. It will help raise the much needed funds for the childrens teachers assistants. As we drove away, my kids told me you were the guy on the TV on the tram ride we took at Universal Studios , on Sunday. Small World!
Thank You!
Missy
p.s. I couldn't find any other way to email you on the A.H. website.

Hey Billy! I just wanted to thank you for all the kind words you said about Chad on sunday. I'm a friend of Chad and was there when you spoke to the family as you were pulling out of the studio. Your daughter is adorable and she was rooting for the right guy. You have my total respect...thanks again Billy!

Meeting George was awesome, he was so nice and even though he had a long night at the oscars he still took a picture with us. It was a nice way to top off the night at Madeo.
