Staff Blog: Live From The Grammys

4:54 pm – The red carpet is winding down and thankfully there were very few fashion mistakes. The last hour has been all about glamorous style. Leanne rimes made a reappearance in that gorgeous grape creation while super nominee Mary J. Blige opted for gold. We shall see if it brings her luck tonight.

Among the last few attendees rushing in? A sparkling Nelly Furtado, a blushing pink adorned Christina Aguilera and a Versace wearing Christina Ricci whose only stop on the fashion red carpet was for our own Stacy London.

"I love you Stacy gushed."

"I love you! I read your book," Ricci cried as she ran to give Stacy a hug.

The carpet is about to close and we're rushing to our seats. Thanks for tuning in. Check back all night for more Grammy news, pictures and scoops.

3:22 p.m. – We are here, live at the Grammys and it is quickly turning into an episode of "What Not to Wear."

Leanne Rimes sauntered in, in gorgeous grape but the picture has quickly faded from our memory with the arrival of quirky Chicago pop rockers Ok Go who have turned up full covered. In what appears to be suits made of gold and burgundy upholstery.

But it gets worse not only are they in a heavy fabric, but their faces are completely covered in mesh as well. But the fashion faux pauxs don't stop there. Grammy nominee, British chanteuse Imogen Heap is not far behind on the carpet with foliage in her hair. Yes foliage.

More fashion developments as they happen, here this afternoon on Accesshollywood.com

I think this years Grammys should be boycotted. It is appalling that the "brains" behind the Grammy's have chosen to pay tribute to a serial child molester. Of all of the amazingly talented muscians in the world, why in God's name would you choose to pay tribute to Michael Jackson?? You just condone his behavior and show that it's ok to do the things he did to all those children, and the world will still love you. It's sickening. I would have much rather seen a tribute to Milli Vanilli or Devo. It's so sad to see the pedalstool you have put this man on... I'm beside myself in horror. The 2008 Grammy's should be boycotted!
