Idol's Sanjaya to guest on 'Hannah Montana'?
Ladies and Gentlemen please give it up for Sanjaya Malakar, who somehow has converted me into a fan. Now, before you tar and feather me, no I don't want the kid to go all the way and win this thing. I would however prefer him to stick around over the very boring Haley Scarnato, Phil Stacey and LaKisha Jones, which would firmly plant him in the Top 5. The kid is entertaining and I knew exactly what Randy Jackson meant when he said Sanjaya may be the smartest contestant they have ever had. The kid knows how to work it. He started out this shy kid who seemed out of his league and every week since then he has changed, morphed, gotten cockier and frankly more entertaining. Besides, last night, you have to admit vocally he wasn't half bad. Plus, it was pretty brazen of him to tackle a Latin song with Spanish lyrics. More importantly, I don't care about the singing. Now, I'm looking forward to seeing what new look he will try. First, it was the Pony Hawk, then the slicked backed greasy look and last night he looked like he had channeled a young Pablo Escobar. Although my boyfriend said he looked more like a kid who dressed up as a young Pablo Escobar for Halloween.
Turns out Sanjaya always had a flair for fashion according to his first cousin, Camila Recchi, "He's always been into his fashion and his stuff. I have never seen him go quite so crazy with his hairstyles before. Considering the situation you gotta go a little extreme."
Camila, her mom Christi and Sanjaya are all members of the Total Experience Gospel Choir in Seattle. At a viewing party last night Director Pat Wright said Sanjaya is actually a natural born beautician, "When we were on summer tour doing hurricane relief in the south this past summer, that’s what he did. Everybody that had hair, Sanjaya was in their hair. He loved to design hair and he loved to braid and he even does eyebrows!"
I'm sure they are amazing singers, having traveled the world to perform, but someone take up a collection and buy these people a new TV please. A crowd of about 50 people watched their favorite contestant perform on a 13-inch cable-less TV that still had the dials on it!
When he does ultimately get voted off (although it would be a fun finale with Sanjaya. Imagine the wardrobe changes!) Sanjaya may already have his first acting gig on Disney's HANNAH MONTANA. Since AMERICAN IDOL shares studio space with DANCING WITH THE STARS run-ins between contestants and celebrity dancers are inevitable. This week Billy Ray Cyrus met up with Sanjaya, "Yeah we were talking last night. I was practicing a little camp work out there in the back and getting ready for my thing and Sanjaya came out of the studio. I said hey man. I said how you doing? Congratulations on all your success and he came over and shook my hand and said hey you're Billy Ray Cyrus man. My family loves you man. We love Hannah Montana and I said well you need to come up and be a guest on Hannah Montana."
I can hear the screams of millions of little girls now. The powers that be at the Disney Channel would have to agree. Sanjaya is up for it according to Billy Ray, "He said I'd love to man, I'd love to. He said where you filming at? I said just up the street you know and he said tell them to write me in, I'll be there. I'm gonna go tell them Mr. Sanjaya said he would be glad to come on the show and I think it would be really cool for him and Miley to hook up. I just want him to sport that porcupine deal man. "
Pray tell what SJ will do Hanna Momtana, next he will be on Dancing with the Stars oops he is not a star, cannot go that route, I'll just be glad whe AI is over, I cannot take mujch more of it.
Sanjaya has been doing a great job. People should leave him alone. The boy can sing. He proved it on latin night...
I would love to see him on HANNA MONTANNA! That would be fawesome! I love watcjing him on American Idol! He's so ferkin' cute! Whoo! love Sanjaya! He's so cool! What's not to love bout him? Nothin' he rocks! And if you think he sucks that must mean you're life is so pathetic where you have to hate someone! HOW SAD!

If Sanjaya is on Hannah Montana, it will be sooooooooo totally amazing! I mean Sanjaya is my favorite singer of all time and Miley is my favorite acctress of all time and Hannah Montana is my favorite show of all time!!! And, just maybe if we're lucky Miley and Sanjaya will have a little something in common, and really hit it off!!!!!!!!!!!!
