A Commitment To Humanity

I've recently had the pleasure of becoming involved with an amazing organization called The Tiziano Project. Please log on to www.TizianoProject.org and see the great work that is being done in Rwanda.
The organization is running a pilot program that is helping the youth of Rwanda get the tools they need to tell their stories to the world. The tools I'm talking about are cameras and Internet access, two things most people take for granted everyday.
The "media" may not always tell all sides of a story and it is critical that during times of crisis everyone is heard. Once interest is lost the cries for help should not be forgotten.
By now most people have heard something about the Rwandan genocide of 1994. An estimated one million people were killed in one hundred days. It frightens and flat out scares me to think about having to experience something like this. I couldn't imagine having to endure such an atrocity and then just moving on with my life.
Stars like Don Cheadle, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie are able to keep the attention of the main steam press on the issues in Darfur and Rwanda because of their celebrity.
The commitment they've made to give back to humanity is something that should not be ignored. No matter how much people try just move on and push the focus towards other truly irrelevant topics, they continue to raise funds and not let the "media " get what they want until their concerns for humanity are heard.
I've made my commitment to give back to humanity, please join us in doing the same.

I think these people are wonderful and talented, and very generous regarding their efforts to help those who need it. I would just like to see more effort in helping our own country. There are so many homeles and underprivileged here, not to mention the elderly who live by the skin of their teeth. I believe in helping others, but I believe in helping your own too!!
It is really a good idea to realise that there are people who need help and actually step up to offer that help. I would be so glad if this can be extended to my town too since there are alot of people in need and that they have been neglected for long.

In the interest of humanity we have a humanitarian program that involves humans and animals being rescued and protected emotionally, mentally, physically. We need funding to get these programs off the ground and want to see if any of the celebrities would be interested in helping with the funding of our humanitarian programs here in the USA. Here at home there are situations that need the help from those who have the means to help make this world of ours a better place for those who cant do it on their own. Gender-based violence (GBV) against women and young girls getting the support along with the horses and animals that will be saved from slaughter and/or crule inhumane conditions, they have a lot in common and can help each other over come the emotional,mentally, physical damage that has been done against them. Heaven Scent Equine and Animal Rescue Organination at Double Shoe Farm seeks support from those who can see the benefits that our programs have to offer. Our theraphy programs are geared to help anyone who seeks to improver there health, lifestyle, emotional and mental, and in some cases improve their physical functions as well. With the help of horses and other animals, this can be accomplished once the projects get the start they need for these services to become available to the public. we can be reached at

I agree that it is an honorable thing to help anyone anywhere, and I greatly admire these talented, generous people for their contributions on and off the screen.
