'Waitress' Serves Up Raw Emotion

I just watched 'The Waitress' starring Keri Russell on the plane. If that is a "chick flick", I wear hanky panky's.

There is nothing I like more than a movie that makes me stop, think, reflect, be thankful and grateful, self loathe for a minute....you get it.

I left this movie blown away by Keri's performance. I also left feeling validated that I am a good husband and have a happy wife and best friend. I am relieved that Nathan Fillion (Firefly) has landed in a great movie, because he was great too as the sensitive, stumbling doctor who teaches her to expect and accept only considerate love.

Man tears welled in the eyes...they did not hit the cheeks and roll.

I also loved 'The Bourne Ultimatum'. It was so well shot and acted...the timing was brilliant. Action unsurpassed. Director Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon are tops.

The Waterloo station scene blew me away. I cheered out loud twice. And Damon's the kind of guy you root for. Great actor, great guy.

So, I amend: I'm cinematically androgynous. That's a good thing.

I too loved the movie "Waitress." I wasn't sure what to expect and there was a few slow parts but overall it was once of the best movies I've seen.
