Hanging with the Jonas Brothers
It's times like yesterday where I wish my family lived out here with me on the West Coast and not back East. Maybe it’s because I've been doing this job for so long now… or maybe it's because I'm not a teenager anymore… that I take things for granted like hanging out with the Jonas Brothers at a tour rehearsal. I would have loved to have my two young cousins here with me so I could have brought them to meet the cute trio... especially since when we first arrived they were still rehearsing with Miley Cyrus. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to shoot any of Miley since they want to keep the tour details secret for the fans.
I've never met the guys before but, of course, I have heard all about them and how cute they are. The first thing that struck me when I was first introduced to them was their hair. These kids have the best hair. Those curls on Nick and Kevin are insane. "Compliments of our mother" says Kevin.
The second thing that hit me was how incredibly nice, humble and down to earth they all are, which they say they owe to having great parents and surrounding themselves with people who are positive influences. I spoke to their father Kevin who has a mantra he taught to the boys which was taught to him by his father, "Even if you are at the top, live like you are at the bottom."
That's a sentiment I wish more celebrities would embrace! OK, but c'mon now, I have two brothers who fought like cats and dogs growing up. These guys must fight? It can't always be one big happy family. At first, the threesome swore to me they were best buddies but when I pushed a little bit they broke down and admitted they have had some brotherly fights that resulted in stitches when they were younger. I knew it.
Although their dad told me he is obsessed with reading all the teen-zines and Web sites dedicated to his sons, all of the rumors about who they are dating are always false. It could be just a Disney publicity creation but it sounds to me like Miley and Nick are definitely dating. When I asked Nick about this he told me, "we are just having fun, enjoying life its all good."
I told him in Hollywood speak "having fun" translates to dating and he needs to say "we are just friends." I also inquired if it’s hard spending time with someone on tour who you have a crush on or are dating and seeing them all the time. He laughed it off and said, "I never found that a hard thing." Dating! Sooooo, dating.
We talked about everything from dating (sounds like there might be some going on with the dancers), their purity pledge, family, Nick's diabetes, their new film "Camp Rock," and their new Disney show "J.O.N.A.S." I'd fill you in on all the details but I guarantee anyone who is a Jonas fan already knows it all!
So, the tour kicks off October 18th in St. Louis. I think it’s absolutely despicable that ticket brokers looking to make a quick buck all but boxed out regular fans trying to buy tickets at face value (about $63 dollars). Internet sites are now offering tickets starting at about $240 and topping out at almost $5000 for front row seats. So, to get around this the Jonas Brothers have a plan. Kevin revealed to me, "I think we are doing some really cool things as the Jonas Brothers to reach out to our fans after the show... like doing a little an impromptu 'concert after the concert' after the show on this tour. Maybe at like, you know, like a House of Blues or places like that in big markets "
So, be on the lookout for information about those shows and if I get any, I will pass it on. Seriously people, if I were 14 years old again I'd be in love with them too.
I was also at the private rehersal concert. All I have to say is that Joe Jonas is HOT... and I am 34yrs old, I hear he is 18 so its all good. I really felt that they were a huge part of the concert, possibly as big a part as Miss. Cyrus. Good times, and awesome show..

OMG i love those guys!!!!!Just hope too meet them one day oh god espasialy NICK JONAS wow that guy can melt my heart lol im kinda obsessed with them but who cares and i love the show ACCESS HOLLYWOOD i always watch it afetr school at 7pm.Im soooooo beggin' my parents to bring me to the concert in Toronto its the closes to Ottawa anywho maybe some other time

seriously i was getting sick of reading these articles bashing on the jobros. Thank you for understanding them! thank you for not saying "their hair and outfits are disgusting" and "they're like hanson" because they're so not and i hate when people assume they know everything about them and then they write it down in a magazine or on a website and all the info is wrong. But thank you for not being one of those people!
