Hot Guys of Fall TV

Do I even need a reason to talk about how the airwaves are peppered with attractive men on this season's new Fall shows?

Nope. I don't.

So, I will.

Penn Badgley, “Gossip Girl” -- By far the most buzzed about new show for the hip and trendy set. It was the first one to get a full season pick up. Lots of girls are getting hot under the collar for newcomer Chace Crawford, especially since he's been seen making out with Carrie Underwood recently. He's just a little too pretty boy for me. I see a future in horror films for him. My money is on Penn, who plays good guy Dan Humphrey. While good looking, he's not pretty and perfect. He's like your best friend’s older brother that you have a major crush on and secretly always wanted to hook up with behind her back. I see a future for him starring in a movie opposite Tom Cruise someday.

Taye Diggs, “Private Practice” -- I'm sorry ABC chose to cancel his very intense drama, "Daybreak," last year but happy they found him a spot on "Private Practice." Dr. Sam Bennett is certainly a lot less brooding than his down and out detective stuck in a "Groundhogs Day" nightmare, but as long as they provide opportunities for him to take off his shirt… who cares.

Alex O'Laughlin, “Moonlight” -- This Australian cutie who plays Vampire Mick St. John can take a bite out of my neck anytime!

Derek Hough, “Dancing with the Stars” -- The best decision "DWTS" ever made was to hire Julianne's older brother this season. He's just plain adorable. Enough said.

Zachary Levi, “Chuck” -- I love the nerds. Always have. Always will. There is not a hotter one on TV right now than "Chuck." Let's hope NBC doesn't pull the plug at the 'Buy More' anytime soon.

Tuc Watkins, “Desperate Housewives” -- As one half of the new "gaybhors" (love that term, coined by a co-worker!) he's certainly the best looking thing to hit Wisteria Lane since John the underage gardener (who coincidentally, makes his return next week!).

Dylan McDermott, “Big Shots” -- Very rarely when I'm doing an interview do I lose my train of thought. I waited all day on the set of "Big Shots" only to get two minutes with Dylan. I have no idea what we talked about I was so mesmerized by those big blue eyes. If only I knew he was going through a separation from his wife, Shiva, I could have consoled him.

Lee Pace, "Pushing Daisies" -- By far my favorite new show of the season! Ned, the pie maker, is certainly not conventionally good looking by Hollywood standards, but his sweetness has me counting the days ‘til the next episode. 35 hours. 39 minutes. 10 seconds.

Brad Womack, “The Bachelor” -- I can't believe this show is still on the air based on its terrible track record… and ABC's ridiculous label for him as "The Sexiest Bachelor" went right out the door the second he opened his mouth, but for some reason I just can't turn this train wreck off! Maybe it's because Brad keeps saying the same thing to every single girl and I'm dumbfounded at his awkward phrases... or, maybe it's because if I close my eyes he sounds exactly like an ex-boyfriend of mine. Based on his chemistry with the final four ladies, my bet is Brad will be pick the cutest girl there and then end up the next casualty in the “Bachelor” love fest.

Honorable Mention from last season: Milo Ventimiglia, "Heroes" -- Is it just me or does this hottie "Hero" look especially hot this season? Cutting the hair was a good start. Those longer locks and trench coats on Peter Petrelli just didn't do it for me. Now, with his spiky new hairdo and his bulked up body and tight shirts, Milo's got me thinking he really could save the world.
