The 'Dancing' Curse Continues!

As if Jane Seymour losing her mother wasn't tragedy enough, now Marie Osmond's father has passed away too. Can all the problems that "Dancing With the Stars" has had this season really just be coincidence? As a spiritual person, it's hard to imagine that being the case, but unfathomable to believe that such sorrow was written in the cards. It's seriously getting a little scary.

I feel absolute sorrow for Marie and her family. She was a ball of energy last night. No hint of any impending sadness even though it was known her father was ill.

I wish you knew the Marie Osmond I have gotten to know over the last couple of months. Her laugh is infectious. She burst out in laughter when I accused her of hijacking my interview last night to pitch her QVC doll. Her sense of humor is spot on. When I jokingly accused her of poisoning Jane Seymour last week, she grabbed me and hugged me and laughed and said, "You're evil!"

Marie just lights up the stage with her energy and enthusiasm. You could tell she is loving each and every second of this experience. Taking a cue from Jane, I hope she returns to dance another day next week to honor her father's memory. Isn't it eerie that they both found out about their parents early in the week? Jane on a Monday night, and Marie, this morning.

When Jane returned the Monday after her mom's passing, she told me she believed it was all part of her mother's plan.

"It has been mentioned by my friends who knew my mom. They said I think Mika chose her moment. If I think about it, in retrospect, for this to happen on the Monday, actually enabled me to continue. If it had been any other day, I don't think we could ever have done it. So yes, thank you mommy."

Could this "curse" be the real deal? Last night, on the way to the show, I kid you not, a bird flew right into my car and died. It literally came out of nowhere and just smacked itself into my left front headlight. I was a mere 500 feet from the CBS studios entrance, where they tape "Dancing", when it happened.

I'm so SICK of the Osmond! it seems like TV just keep putting them down our throat, I can't stand it! They are good but c'mon enough already!

I too am sick of the Osmond's. Entertainment Tonight has the brother calling for votes & stating that his sister deserves the title - well ET needs to have the other contestants siblings on so they can promote their star - this is sickening. - ET get HIM off. It isn't fair - R U for Marie? It sure sounds like it. She really can't dance.
