The Loss Of Ledger

Imagine for a moment, if you will, a world without actors or actresses.
Imagine a world without entertainment.
Imagine a world where you couldn't forget your troubles.
Every now and then a great actor or a great actress comes along and wows us with an extraordinary performance, and us ordinary folk are lucky enough to witness the true magic of movies or television.
What they do is all powerful.
Though I'm pretty sure they'll be the first ones to tell you that they're not saving lives with their acting or that they're not coming up with a cure for cancer or a cure for aids by delivering the next great line.
But without actors, without actresses, we wouldn't cry, we wouldn't laugh, we wouldn't smile.
Heath Ledger, the actor.
Heath Ledger, the father.
Heath Ledger, the person.
Heath Ledger, a human being.
