We're Not Buyin'...
I am sitting in our Executive Producer's office, where he
answers all calls on speaker phone -- he just got one from our photo editor who
said there is an agency out there looking to sell exclusive photos of the
apartment Heath Ledger died in to a news magazine.
She was gauging his interest. My ears perked up; I peered
over my computer monitor, which faces his. I watched as he did the right thing.
He said 'No' -- too exploitive, and -- gross.
I wonder if it will pop up somewhere else?
If it does, they should get a big break on the price, because there's not competition.
You know it will be on The Insider or ET.
Thankfully you did not buy those pics. That's just obscene.
I also want to comment as Access Hollywood, E.T. and the Insider are saying it was an "accidental overdose". Dudes it is no accident with 6 different types of hard core prescriptions in your possession let alone your body/system.
How tragic that he went from one series of addictions to another. And no one, not one of his handlers or friends dragged him kicking and screaming all the way to rehab.
If this were one of my friends or family you bet your a-- I would be tying a rope around them to get them help.
Just my opinion.
I may be naiive but as a former EMT, do you know how many people are taking multiple doses of meds that basically do the same thing-- just because a dr./ drs. told them to?
Accidental overdose/poisoning by medical prescriptions is the #1 killer of Americans after accidents!
Many people don't realize that the meds they take have a cumulative effect in their systems.. and as for hard core drugs in his system.. check your prescription cold/cough meds-- many of the items listed in the toxicology report are in there and that's what helps you suppress coughs, and break up phlegm (sp)
Like I said at the beginning, maybe Im naiive... but I'd rather believe that it was a tragic, horribly avoidable accident...than to smear someone when I didn't know them, and wouldn't want someone smearing a loved one of mine without them knowing them either.
hahahahahahahahahahaha hilarious
I don't watch Access Hollywood anymore, as I'm up in Canada and it doesn't fit into my schedule any more, but I really appreciated how it tried to stay away from gossip and the show seemed to have integrity.
I felt that it began to lose that integrity as I stopped watching the show, but its good to hear that it has lasted.
