She told me her friend and a true American icon, Farrah Fawcett, is cancer free. I asked when she last spoke to Farrah and cher said "a few days ago". This is excellent news and I will pray for Farrah Fawcett as well all others in that fight.
She's supporting Hillary because she knows her. I thought she was more the Obama type. Since she professes to be an independent, I said "why not McCain?"....he's seen by many as sort of the naughty Republican, the one that keeps stepping out of line. In 2000, he was loved by many independents. She said....."too old". I said, "he may not appreciate that coming from you". She stood her ground.
She always does.
Oh, I asked her if Restylane(R) and Botox(R) were fair game. She said "not for her" but she would do anything she felt like.

I saw with interest your story on Cher. I want you, and more importantly your viewers to know that the type of procedure that Cher received, we perform daily here at Stanford. I am the Chief of Interventional Radiology and perform the chemoembolization of liver tumors, where we are able to catheterize the artery supplying the tumor and delivery 10 times the dose of chemotherapy to the tumor, compared to conventional intravenous chemotherapy. Also the Cyberknife was invented and developed at Stanford, and we currently have two Cyberknife's at Stanford.

The clinic that Cher went to in Germany nis the Leonardis Klinik. Cher son was there recently also with stomach problems.

Peronally, i feel that Cher could do so many positive things by going more public and bringing awareness to people about this horrible illness. She certainly is well respected and has the means to help.

I am so happy to read how many other people suffer from EBV. I am so tired of doctors telling me EBV is not a serious problem! Could you please forward me information regarding Cher's treatment - ie natural suppliments she may take, diet, and where she found treatment in Germany.

I've had this insidious disease for 30 years even before they finally put a name to it. I was familiar with German meds. quite a while ago. Went to a doctor that would make me feel better every 6 months. But then he died. Since I am house bound, constant infections because of low immunity, and tired of spending money on doctors, homeopathics, and herb scams that left me sick and broke. Hope you will send me Cher's doctor or some regime or some info. that I could have a little hope----

I too suffer with EBV now for years,I'd like to know the Secret to fight this as Cher found as Dr's hear say you have it and there clueless how to treat this,But In germany there is a cure called "MicroImmunotherape"it gets me mad we don't have this treatment here.Just we have to ride it out that it can take years or a lifetime & we have to live like this.It causes more than fatigue,it causes pain,deression,anxiety,insomnia,etc...I too want my life back,I have a disabled husband to support & this illness is making it hard for me to work.
I think Dr Lawrence you are describing FARRAH'S TREAMENT not Cher's?
For all those with CFS/ME/EBV, please join CFIDS Association of America, which is our patient representation group - they have a powerful lobbiest who works for US for our rights. They also have lists of support groups and physicians in the US. There are some excellent ME/CFS specialists in the US (who many people come to from outside the US!). Don't give up - there is help within the US.

I would love it very much if CHER would give the public more insight...I Got C.F.S./Epstein Barr at age 14 and I'm 30 now - I've lived in Michigan my whole life and don't really feel like anyone can help me...I hate the fact that my family just thinks I'm a loser cause they don't really know what it is...I wish we could all be able to go somewhere and get the treatment we really need...
So, has any of you who requested the name/address of the clinic in Germany and the doctors there actually received the info??? I would love to get it too. I suffered for over 15 years and need help.
