Access 3000: Maria's First Day Memories
My first day at Access was exciting.
I spent it in Chicago on the bus on the “Access Across America Tour.”
What a great way to kick off my first day with all the excitement surrounding the tour and my move to NBC.
I remember Billy saying, “We are gonna show you how we do it here at Access,” and we all met up for dinner at Ballo where I realized this show was more than just a show, it was a family and I was the newest member -- even the limo driver was invited to attend.
Thirty of us including Jeremy Piven, turned Ballo, a restaurant, into a nightclub. It was a wild and fun night that I have to say wasn’t a one-time thing.
We all enjoy each other’s company and have weekly basketball games at my house and we all host parties at our houses where we still get together and spend time with each other.
We all work hard and play hard here.
I would like to work at Access Hollywood in the future. Right now I'm in college and I was wondering what i would have to major in, or do, in order to get on that Access stage.

Hi, I'm a freshman in high school and would love to be an anchor like you are for Access Hollywood or something close to it, anyway. I just wanted to know how you got into the field and what it takes to do what you do. (credentials and also personality characteristics)
Recently Channel 4 (NBC) covered Maria. It showed her father had come to this country and was rather poor. He married and Maria was born and raised and later she was able to do a lot for them as she progressed though her profession. It was a heart warming story. It seemed to me this is a very lovely family. I always enjoy watching Maria on Access Hollywood as she is very sweet and appears to be so much a lady with a very beautiful personality.
I can't remember which show she used to be on.
I remember the first time i saw Maria on the show.. I always have had a little problem with shows like this and ET as they tend to get clones to report the entertainment..
But Maria is really cool and she has won my heart over all this time.
I only hope great things for her and congrats on your 3000 show .

I love your look and your fresh vibe on the show, its one entertainment program I watch in Toronto, like yourself, I love basketball too, way back with my old school Piston days and now the Raptors. I'm glad the Celtics won, alot of guys deserved the accolade. Keep up the great work, you guys especially the ladies make everyday a fun day when I tune in not only showbiz stuff. Maria & the rest of the gang are very lucky. :)
