'The Billy Bush Show' Hits The Airwaves

“The Billy Bush Show” is out of the gates and strong. Julia Roberts phoned in for our opening night. Mariah Carey the next day.  Today, I'm scheduled to chat with Jack Nicholson, with whom I played golf on Saturday. He is a strong player and of course, the biggest star there is. Jack doesn't do much in the press so this is special.

Lindsay Lohan will be on Friday.

This is not luck or a calling in of favors. It's a result of six years of building a name and reputation. People know I ask the questions that need to be asked but they also know I love a laugh more than anything in life and I want people to never regret coming on with me.

Life is too short for burned bridges...of which I only have one in Hollywood. Wait, maybe there's a second, but that's a result of a shortsighted, prejudiced celebrity...nothing to do with me as a person.

Michelle Salvatore is my radio producer. She is young and has a huge future...managing our show and me at the same time is no easy feat. She moved from New York only a month ago...totally uprooted and on her own.

As I try to adjust to a frantic pace in my work day, now that my work has more than doubled, it’s important to remember there are many others making sacrifices.

I hope you listen to the show and here's some good news:  many more affiliates are about to jump on board thanks to the awesome debut of this show.

You are absolutely right about the perception your guests have of you. They know that you will be light-hearted, are respectful and have integrity. It's no surprise that the big stars want to come on your show. Thank you.

Hi Billy,

This isn't related to your radio show. I don't get it here in western Canada, that I know of, but I know its likely very good.
I am writing because I just saw your first episode this week of Millionaire. It was awesome. Hosting in this type of venue is definitely a strength for you. I do hope there is more of it in your future. The standout things for me were just the really good pace of the show and the fun stuff that you throw in ie: the chest bump. I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to watching the rest of this week.
