Inside 'American Idol Live' Tour Rehearsals
Unfortunately, you won't hear any glimpses of what Idol winner David Cook is cooking up for his first album at the show, but you will get plenty of originality from the rocker he says,
"Some calypso, a little bit of free-formed jazz. I actually got a seven minute interpretive dance routine in the middle of my set."
He's kidding (if you haven't figured that out yet). Although, I’m sure he would look good in tights! I mean he is one of People Magazine's Sexiest Bachelors, right? Except he’s not technically a bachelor as he is still dating TV Guide Channel host and former Idol alumna, Kimberly Caldwell. David says their relationship is "good" but he's now trying to stay out of the radar with it,
"I think for me, it sounds cliché to say, but I got into music to make music and it's so funny now because people ask me about my personal life and there is such an absurdity associated with everybody just from all corners asking about it. I am stoked about this tour because I feel like to some degree it is a bit of an escape. I can get onto the road and concentrate on music."
The tour kicks off July 1st in Glendale, Arizona and when they finally hit the road it will be in two buses. One for the girls, and one for the guys. Despite the close quarters though, don't expect any romances to pop up between the remaining single Idols according to Brooke White,
"Pretty much whoever is, well, I mean there (are) a few that (are) not in a relationship, but we don't really have that kind of thing going on. It's more like a sibling situation and that would be weird. We're more like brother / sister. It's beyond friends in the sense that we are not on our best behavior anymore. We're like hair everywhere and zit cream and all that jazz. It's real."
Brooke's married. So, is Michael Johns. I knew Kristy Lee Cook recently got engaged but I was surprised to learn that Ramiele Malubay has a man. Her boyfriend's name is Austin, although she wouldn't give up the details about where and when they met. She also has a new yorkie puppy named Ariel that will be joining her on tour alongside Michael's new puppy, David Puddy, a French bulldog. They both joked that if they make babies together it would be a forkie!
As for the rumors circulating the Internet that she and top 24 contestant Danny Noriega are no longer BFF's, Ramiele told me that is completely false,
"That is so not true. He is kind of busy right now and I am busy as well. I talk to him whenever I get the chance. We will text every once in awhile but it’s not like all the time like it used to be. We are going to the Philippines together in December. We are going to do a concert together."
On a serious note, I wanted to give fans an update on another Top 24 contestant, Luke Menard, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma last month. Michael Johns formed a strong bond with Luke during the season and filled me in on his condition,
"Luke is doing great. We just spoke last night and he went through his second round of chemo and stuff and he is battling. He is actually going to Nashville to do some writing very soon and he is feeling really fit and healthy. It's not getting in the way of his career. So spirits are really high. He actually told me he was going to come to a couple of shows."
Carly is married, too.

You realize that the only remaining single Idols are Archie and Chikeze right? ^_^
No more Ramiele and David Archuleta? Daviele? No More Jason and Ramiele? Jasiele? No more David Cook and Ramiele? Malucook or Damiele? No more Ramiele and Danny? Daniele?

I'm so happy for Ramiele and Danny and I wish I could go to the concert in the Philippines but I can't because I have to go to the Philippines next year for my grandmother's birthday and family reunion.
Danny and Rami? Together in concert? How cool is that??? That would be something GREAT to watch...I wish them both well
Aw this is amazing! I'd lovee to go to the Philipines and meet Danny & Ramiele! Hopefully I can. Im so excited about the tour in Tampa...AUGUST 21!!! yay
