'The Bachelorette's' Graham Bunn Wants To Get Married, Just Not To DeAnna
Despite the fact that during the entire season of "The Bachelorette" 29-year-old Graham Bunn was portrayed as aloof, cold and commitment phobic, he says he came on the show because he was looking to find a potential wife,
"It was totally my goal."
In a conference call with reporters this morning Graham admitted with Deanna it really was just a case of he just wasn't that into her. Graham had difficulties opening up to her about his feelings, something the other guys were perfectly willing to do.
"I opened up as much as I could in an honest genuine manner. I was never going to tell her something that she just wanted to hear. She was dating people that were willing to say to her what she needed to hear."
Graham stressed that he felt pressure to talk marriage with Deanna in the time frame the show provided, a time frame he wasn't comfortable with to get to know someone. However, when I posed the question to Graham about whether or not if there were no cameras, no time frame, no television show could he fall in love with Deanna his answer said it all,
"No, I don’t think I could have fallen in love with her. I don’t think we were right for each other."
He also believes that he and Deanna will never speak again which is why he wrote her that goodbye letter he presented to her after the rose ceremony where she sent him home,
"I just don’t think that it would ever be healthy for us to be friends. I just knew that would be the end for us. So it was kind of a sad moment."
The details of what was in the letter may be revealed next Monday in the "Men Tell All" episode which follows a two-hour "Bachelorette" where Deanna takes the final three on their fantasy dates to Grand Bahama Island. It's down to just three men - Dallas lawyer Jeremy (Hot!), Seattle single daddy Jason (Adorable!) and snow-boarder Jesse (Don't Get It!). Hopefully she sends Jeremy packing next week so I can have him for myself!
Last week, when I spoke with eliminated Bachelor Twilley he revealed his belief that Deanna would choose Jesse at the end, which shocked pretty much everyone. Graham believes Jason will grab her heart and says like most he doesn't quite understand her connection with Jesse. I asked him if there was something we weren't seeing about Jesse when we watched the episodes and he gave this cryptic answer,
“I don’t believe you are missing anything in the edit of Jesse. I think you are missing something in the editing of Deanna.”
When pressed for more information by another reporter he wouldn't elaborate,
"Yeah. I'm gonna go ahead and not comment on that one.”
Hmmm. Interesting! By the way single ladies for anyone wondering about what Graham wants in a woman he told me its simple,
“The most important thing is if you can make someone smile.”
o.k i totally agree with graham. i mean that's the way graham was opening up and she should have just accepted it!!! But i'm sure graham will be way happier with someone else. Even though i cried for him when he was sent home:(
and i agree i REALLY don't get why Jesse is there!!
I don't think ANYONE except DeAnna "gets" the Jesse "thing!" (Guess beauty really IS in the eye of the beholder!) The good news: more "Grahams" and "Jasons" out there for the rest of the deserving, single women!
