Is Jeremy The Next 'Bachelor'?
Rumors are flying that this week’s eliminated bachelor, Jeremy Anderson, a 30-year-old real estate attorney from Dallas, Texas, will be chosen to be the next “Bachelor” when the series returns this fall.
When I spoke to Jeremy two weeks ago backstage at the “Men Tell All” taping, he seemed conflicted about the idea of going through this again and wasn’t sure if producers were interested. In a conference call with Jeremy yesterday, reporters questioned whether or not he had thought about being the next “Bachelor” and this time Jeremy seemed more open to it.
“It was a great experience,” he said “It was probably the most enlightening thing I’ve ever done. I feel like I took more out of it than anyone.”
This morning with the rumors growing louder, reporters questioned DeAnna on whether or not she felt Jeremy was a good pick as the next “Bachelor.”
“Jeremy would make a great ‘Bachelor’ because he has everything to offer. He is the perfect man. He has a wonderful outlook on life and love. He has a great career ahead of him. He has a great dog. He is the total package,” DeAnna said of her castoff.
Is he available able though? On the conference call Jeremy admitted that he is currently dating someone but did not reveal who it is.
“I have started seeing someone. It was tough in the beginning and it was tough to get back out there because you can’t really date while the show is going on. Once the show was over I could kind of explore…the dating world in real life is so much different. It’s a different universe to dating on television,” he said.
Well, no kidding!
His status with doing the show could come down to his job status. Jeremy was let go from his law firm in Dallas because of his decision to go on “The Bachelorette.” It’s up in the air whether or not they will take him back.
“Everyday is a new day with that. I haven’t talked to my firm today [since the show aired Monday night], so I’m sure they’ll call me at some point and we’ll talk about it,” he said. “It’s a very conservative law firm. They’ve got to make sure the image is what they feel is appropriate for the firm.”
Hey, I’m not a lawyer or anything, but isn’t this illegal?

I think Jeremy definately should be the next Bachelor. I think he does have alot to offer, and would make a good husband. He is a sweet heart!
I am the mother of four, three sons ages 17,22 & 24 and this fantastic man showed tact, and composure under the grueling, juvenille behavior of his castmates. He is extremely handsome, kind, focused, and seemed so very genuine. I am sure his parents would be so very proud of the man he is.
I could not believe she let him go, but I am so thankful she did. She was not a good fit for Jeremy, he needs a gal with polish, class, and a unselfish, serene love. I am not sure he can find it on TV, but I am sure he will find it. I'd watch Jeremy as the Batchelor just to see his smile.
I think Jeremy would be great! I would love to go out with him, and I'm sure half of America would love to go out with him as well. Whoever he is seeing is very lucky and I wish them both the best.
I feel Jeremy would make a great Bachelor,
but I don't think he is ready. The girl would be on the rebound for him. He truly loved D.
I feel that Jason would be great as the next Bachelor. He would be the first one with a child, and he is very good looking. On the show he admitted that he is ready to fall in love again. His armor had been removed.

I was soooo surprised that Deanna did not pick Jason. He had all the qualities that would make him such a great husband. I didn't feel Jeremy was a very genuine person. I think that Jason should be the next Bachelor. I don't know if he could stand to be away from his son again for so long, though. Jason is such a cutey patootie and it would be so much fun to see him find someone to complete his cute little family. I hope that America gets to see it happen on the next Bachelor!

I think either Jeremy or Jason would be great for the next Bachelor! Maybe we can see them both sharing the show. I really like them both becuase they're both classy and stand up guys. I hope they're not still sweating over DeAnna because there will be better fits for them. I like that Jason has a son, there are a lot of single parents looking for love and they can relate. Jeremy is just a sweetheart and I want to see who both of these guys end up with!!

I totally agree that I believe Jason Mesnick will be the best candidate for the Bachelor. It will be different to have a guys on there with a child. Jason was on a radio talk show this morning and someone asked him if ABC asked him to be the Bachelor if he would do and he said he would do it in a heart beat. Jason is a wonderful, special guy. I believe if Deanna can get a second chance at love than Jason should too. I actually think he deserves it more!!
JEREMY has to be the next bachelor. He is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING............ what the hell was deanna thinking?? Ah well, I am married but feel happy for the single women out there.....atleast they have a chance with him now ;o)

Apparently DeAnna wasn't thinking when she let go of Jeremy - great looks, reserved, well spoken, dressed well, awesome apartment, compassionate. He is the male Trista and should be the next bachelor. With the exposure he has received he will have no problem forgetting about DeAnna who?
Jason should definitely be the next bachelor. He has a son and he already got his heart broken 2 times! Jason is so sweet and he has ALL the qualities! :)
Jeremy would be excellent for The Bachelor! What a true gentleman! He has all the qualities women look for in a man! If only I can find someone like him. Jeremy is genuine, classy, polite, caring, intelligent, sincere, considerate, adventurous, shy, fun (ABC didn't focus on that but there were glimpses of it on the show), family-oriented, athletic, and so much more. BTW, did say handsome? He's smoking hot! I want to see more of his personality come out (not edited out) as the next Bachelor.

ABC you would benefit tremendously by selecting Jeremy as your next Bachelor. This man has won the heart of many and has most of the qualities women look for when they are looking for someone amazing. He simply naturally connected with the viewers because he learned as he went along. This man can take the show to another level. The show with him can be taken to target an larger audience. He can show classy, fun, exciting, educated and emotional all at once. ABC needs to select carefully and hand pick women especially for him because this particular man deserves the entire package for that is exactly what he is offering. I truly feel Jeremy can show America exactly what women need when they are ready for serious and commitment. He may just raise the bar for ALL single men out there. Watch and learn boys!!! These are your answers…so take notes.

Don't agree. He is very dry. Just a sad soul. Watching him was a downer. He is handsome, but this sad, pathetic, puppy. Not exciting must see TV.
I would love EITHER Jason or Jeremy as the next Bachelor. I think it would be amazing to see Jason, the first bachlor with a child, find a woman who will be a mother and wife, but I have no doubt he will find that woman on his own, especially with the exposure of the show. I'd kinda rather see Jeremy as the bachelor, if just to find out if he has any freaking flaws!!!

I think that Jeremy would be perfect for next season if he would like to do it. He was always my favorite from the beginning.
jeremy is a wonderful guy and has gone trough so much hurt in his life. I truly think that he, by far, deserves to be the next bachelor, and get a chance at mending his broken heart and finding true love.
He has a sweet and caring personality and is very'handsome. I think it's time for him to finally be able to put all the hurt aside and discover that there is more to life than heartbreak and the loss of loved ones.

Sorry when Jeremy got taken off there was the scene in the car where he told driver to stop the car,and then he was just pacing around outside . I truly felt he was putting on a pity party act for T.V ..
Jason Mesnik was the one for dianna from day one I knew he was perfect husband material for her ...Her loss is America's lucky gain.
Please let Jason be next Bachelor it will be different & exciting and you will be able to really know if the woman is there for a free ride or true love wth a very handsome Bachelor who has a child ....

Jeremy was too fake and dramatic when he left the show. I got the feeling that he was positioning himself to try to be the next Bachelor. I think he was calculating and fake. No offense, to all the Jeremy fans. I think he just did it to gain a television career!

i think Jason should be the next bachelor, but on the other hand i dont know if he would do it. it seemed hard for him to leave his son, and who wants to get their hart broken. personaly i like the show, and beleave love can happen, but its so hard to chose the one of your dreams in so little time. I would like to see Jeremy be the next bachelor. I felt he was sincere and really wanted to have DeAnna be in love with him. I can't even imagine how difficult it would be to put my emotions out in front of the TV world to see. I truly felt that DeAnna and Jeremy would have made a great couple. She chose Jesse to be her husband and she must really feel as if he is the right one for her. I would like Jeremy to find the love of his life and be happy.

yes that would be good but since Jeremy is seeing Chelsea from the bachelor on london let their love come together. and we as veiwers can see someone that is for real find real love I think Jeremy and Chelesa are perfect they both put their heart out their and Matt hurt chelsea and I do think the producer was wrong for letting Shayne be on the show, and DeAnna lied about what she eanted in a man and family for jesse is a kid hisself so you know going to the parent DeAnna I'm like her dad I wish she would pick Jason but I forgot he had a child and he's been married before and that would hurt representation.

Jeremy was heartbroken and would be great for the next bachelor but I would much rather see Jason on the screen. They both have a wonderful heart but Jason and Tyler are just SO amazing! I will watch either one they put on the screen. cheers!
