'The Simpson's' Cele-Bart Twenty Seasons. So Why Did Bart Tell Me To F Off?

THE SIMPSONS - Bart Simpson FOX AP.jpgSo, last night FOX held its annual eco-friendly Fall TV launch party. Many of the stars from all of their TV shows attended the party and walked the blue (not red) carpet which had been recycled from the Teen Choice Awards as a nice way to go along with the eco-friendly theme.

Let's start with the good stuff...

My first interview is with Nancy Cartwright, the sprite blonde woman who voices Bart Simpson and other characters. The show is celebrating its 20th season, which ties it with "Gunsmoke" as the longest running show ever on television. So, there had been all these reports recently about the huge salaries the voice actors negotiated this year for the show. It's been reported the top cast will get around $400,000 per episode. It's a ton of money for voice actors and much more than most TV actors. That's not to say it's not completely deserved for a show as popular as "The Simpsons."

So, in reference to this, I ask Nancy how lucrative those 20 years have been for her. She begins to answer my question and then my cameraman tells me he messed up the shot and please re-ask the question. Nancy proceeds to berate me for asking the money question and then tells me to "F!%k Off!" She was half joking but since I didn't want her to "have a cow man" when the interview started again I left out the money question. I think we're friends again!

"The Simpsons" will be getting a visit from Anne Hathaway who will play a love interest for Bart. Jodie Foster will be the voice of Maggie in a flash forward episode. Maggie hasn't uttered a word in the tv show since Elizabeth Taylor helped her give voice to her first word, "Daddy."

Denis Leary shows up in an episode where Bart finds his cell phone and starts sending him Derek Jeter hats and jerseys to really piss him off. Worcester, Massachusetts born Leary is, of course, a die-hard Boston Red Sox fan.

Seth Rogen will appear in an episode he wrote with "Superbad" co-scribe Evan Goldberg.

Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks and of "DWTS" fame, plays himself in an episode described to me by "The Simpsons" executive producer Al Jean.

"We have an episode where the Springfield bee population is declining precipitately and at the same time they set up a bee habitat. Mr. Burns buys a basketball team because he wants to be like the new Mark Cuban and destroys the bee sanctuary."

"The Simpsons'" season twenty kicks off September 28th on FOX.

I just want to correct a couple of errors. Sorry I know Im a geek, but Maggie said the word, "Sequel" at the end of the Simpsons Movie and, MAINLY, Ricky Gervais wrote and guest-starred in the episode: Homer Simpson, This Is Your Wife in 2006. That was the first time a guest star wrote and was in the episode.
Thanks
