Dish of Salt: Investigating The 'Dancing' Curse Part Two: The Reading
Now it's time to find out why I am a believer in Dennis and Alice Jackson.
While we were on stage professional dancer Cheryl Burke came over to say hello and asked Alice and Dennis if she and her dance partner Maurice would be going home.

Cheryl: I'm kind of scared to ask it, because I don't really want to know. Are we getting eliminated tomorrow night?
Dennis: I don't watch the show so I have nothing invested but I would say... well, you have a grandmother that's a dancer?
Cheryl: Yeah.
Dennis: She used to dance all the time? She says, "Don't worry. You worry too much."
Cheryl: Oh my god, that's so scary!
Alice: Don't be scared.
Dennis: What's your grandmother's name?
Cheryl: Sherrie. My mom's mom.
Dennis: She's crossed over?
Cheryl: Well, she passed away; I've never met her before.
Dennis: How long ago?
Cheryl: When my mom was 16 and my mom's 50. ..
Alice: She knows you very well.
Cheryl: I've never met her, though.
Alice: But you've carried on her name.
Dennis: Can I tell you something that is really strong around you? I think you were your grandmother.
Cheryl: Really?
Dennis: Yeah, she's with you -- the energy of your grandmother. Let me explain that a little bit. We can talk to your grandmother, who she was and who she was in a past life, that soul, that memory stays with her memory. But you could come in with her soul, being your grandmother and have a new life and have new experiences and everything, carrying around all those memories with you.
Dennis: Now, your grandmother tells me you did a radio show a few days ago.
Cheryl: Yeah, Thursday.
Dennis: Thursday morning?
Cheryl: Yeah.
Alice: Your grandmother knew and she knew that we'd be talking.
FREAKY! So, now I'm much more open to all of this. After the shoot was over I ended up sitting and watching the dress rehearsal with Alice and Dennis. I told Alice I had a question about my grandfather I wanted to ask. So, when we walked to the parking lot together I told them I was looking to find out about my grandpa who had passed on about six years ago. My family was very close to him and I wanted to see if he was OK.
Dennis stands still for a few minutes and then the conversation went something like this. It's not verbatim but it follows closely what happened.
Dennis: I'm not getting your grandpa but did you know someone with the name Harvey or Harry or maybe Henry?
Laura: Yes, Hank {short for Henry} was my Aunt's boyfriend for the last fifteen or twenty years. He was my uncle.
Dennis: And he has passed on?
Laura: Yes, about a year ago from lung cancer.
Dennis: OK. He is with your grandpa and wants you to know they are together and always around your family. Now who was the golfer? Someone is showing me golfing.
Laura: Hank was the golfer. His last job before he died was on a golf course.
Dennis: Good because I was wondering why I was being shown someone golfing on a golf course. I'm also seeing a beloved dog that is with Hank do you know what that is?
Laura: I don't. I had a dog, Mitzi, that died but I don't know if Hank had a dog. He didn't have one when I knew him. (Later I found out from my Aunt that Hank had a beloved dog back in Connecticut a long, long time ago)
Dennis: Now I'm being shown shoes, lots and lots of shoes. Men shoes. What is that about?
Laura: My grandpa was a shoe salesman for Florsheim.
Alice: Is there anything else you want to ask?
Laura: Yes, what can I tell my Aunt about Hank?
Dennis: Yes. He says, "Tell her she can go to the casino as much as she wants."
This is where I scream out, "Holy Sh@!" My aunt is a bit of a gambling junkie and spends way too much time at the casino, which has always been a bit of a bone of contention with our family. Anyone could have found out my relatives who had passed and how. Hank had no blood relation to me. There is no record anywhere that we even knew each other and most importantly no one would have ever known my Aunt is a secret casino addict. I'm an absolute believer and I have heard many stories today from people who had similar experiences with mediums.
They also told me I would be married within two years. So this will stand as documentation of that.
Although that prediction, I'm still pretty skeptical about!

Dave and I just giggled when reading this because we can just picture Dennis talking when he recapped the story of Laura's grandfather and the shoes!
When you performed the crossing over at our Cafe many of us had the same reaction as Laura, amazing and true!

I met Dennis and Alice 8 years ago in Virginia and we became fast friends. Dennis did a reading for me back then telling me that I would be moving to the West Coast, More like California, I remember my reaction was Hell No. I will never live in California. 8 Years later here I am. I have learned through the years not to argue with him and go with the flow because he is always right. They are an incredible couple . I believe that they make you a better person by having them in your life. I have had the honor of hosting a lot of their Circle of Love gatherings and it is amazing to see the healing and the love that comes throught in these circles. they are the best. I recommend their book which the story of their spiritual path and having found one another. What a book, It is called "Twin Souls, together again in life and love" It is about time that finally someone had the good sense to put them on national T.V. When they are done everyone will be a believer.
John and I were so excited to see you on Access Hollywood! ( I think he was more worked up about it than me). We were really interested in the energetic fingerprints people leave behind. Could this explain some 'hauntings'? We would love to see more! They are so gifted and have such good energy together I think they need their own show- we're their no. 1 fans.

It's sad that people are still being taken in by these con artists in this day and age. These people have private investigators. Laura, before they met you they must have checked you out, probably Cheryl too and other people on DWTS. Just because you THOUGHT no one would've known your aunt was a gambler doesn't mean this fact can't be discovered. In that whole dialog between them and you, you notice they initiated every topic, they controlled the whole conversation. Next them try bringing up a topic of your own, or make up one so you can call them bluff later.

Congratulations on your appearance on Access Hollywood. I "knew" it would be a success! It's probably me using MY "psychic ability"...or it could be that I have experienced the "accuracy of the readings" on a first-hand basis, as well as witnessing the accuracy of readings for other members of my family, and of my friends.

I was away this past week without internet access and was glad you sent the link since I missed the episode live. Felt a bit like a proud "auntie" seeing you on such a highly viewed show! I am so glad that so many others will now learn of you both and your amazing gifts. Your work has brought so much healing and peace to so many... I have seen that firsthand countless times. Great seeing you on Access Hollywood, even though we were in a noisy lounge, however, we had a repeat that evening in the quiet of our hotel room. Dennis & Alice are the most giving people I know!! Dennis had a revelation about my parents that was amazing. He had no idea what my relationship had been with them, as we just met!! Never could figure out how they could be so successful doing the same job we are doing. Do you think it could be POSITIVE energy?? Friends Always,

Thank you all for your support and kind comments. So many people have been asking for more info about the "energy field", we thought we could share it with you here. The energy field we talked about on the show is very much like a fingerprint or "psychic scent" left behind. Such "psychic scents" are what bloodhounds and psychics pursue when searching for missing persons.
The energy of the race car drivers who died on that location when it was a race track still lingers. The dancers connect with the residue of that energy on the DWTS dance floor. In addition, they are aware of the phenomena (our preferred word rather than "curse", which is negative). When they enter the vortex of energy on the floor...very much like the Bermuda Triangle as Derek Hough said, they may consciously, or even subconsciously, tense up and are more susceptible to injuries. What we did was tap into the energy of the vortex and followed the "psychic trail" of the location's history. Derek's idea to sage the dance floor is perfect, and will help to cleanse the negative residue of energy lingering on from all injuries, past and present.
