'The Biggest Loser' Men Are Dropping Like Flies!

It took five seasons for a female to win "The Biggest Loser" and it may take five more for a guy to gain back the title. Season six is on track to have yet another female winner as all but two of the men on the ranch have been sent packing. So far Adam, Tom Sr., LT, Jerry and Ed have been eliminated leaving just Brady and Phillip behind with the seven remaining ladies.

shellay.jpgThis week though, the two remaining men were spared and it was 51-year-old stay at home mom Shellay who was sent home, after the newly formed black team failed to win the weigh in. Her daughter, Amy, remains in the competition. Shellay started the show at 220 pounds and is now down in the 150's and wearing a size eight. She plans to be a size six for the December finale and to win the $100,000 at home prize.

"I wake up everyday and I get right into workout clothes. I think healthy and I think working out. My mothers says I'm no fun anymore!"

She may have lost 70 pounds but she gained a great friendship in Colleen who was wrecked last night, as she had to make the decision to send Shellay home. On a conference call with reporters this morning, Shellay broke down in tears talking about it.

"I have seen the elimination a couple times and every time I see it I cry. Colleen and I became very close and actually Amy [my daughter] said to me one day she's like, 'Why don't you just go move in with Colleen?' I said 'you are getting jealous.' We just hit if off. I watched out for her."

In another highly emotional moment, last week it was 31-year-old Ed Brantley who was sent home leaving behind his wife Heba. The newlyweds were forced to decide which one of them would go home when their team fell below the yellow line at the weigh in. Ed says it as the hardest thing he has ever had to do but that the reunion, captured by cameras, is worth the wait in an upcoming episode.

"Our reunion is - when you get to see it you're just probably not even going to believe it. You're going to be doing back flips. You're going to be like up in a chair, like screaming. That's just all I say about it."

Will that reunion be at home or on the ranch? Last season the eliminated contestants came back and were able to compete in a challenge that allowed one player back into the game. That could be a possibility here. Stay tuned!
