See It / Skip It: 'Twilight' and 'Bolt'

IT DID JUMP AROUND A LIL FROM THE BOOK, BUT THATS TO BE EXPECTED ITS A MOVIE...

ALL IN ALL GOOD MOVIE - NOT TO MENTION ALL THE HOTTNESS...CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONES...

i went to the twilight premiere and i loved it. even though parts of the book were moved around, i enjoyed it very much. i thought it was funny and it very much related to teens. good job. and of course, rob was irresistable.

Twilight was the best movie I have seen in a long time. I really enjoyed it. I want to see it a couple of more times

I went to see Bolt today,and I absolutely loved it!I am in my early 30's,and it was just a very sweet,funny movie and I would highly recommend it.

What is up with all the skip its??? I just saw Twilight and it was AMAZING. I thought nothing could ever even be close to being as good as the book, I was very wrong. The romance, drama and suspence was just perfection. There are 3 things I must say though, first of all, the romance was more rushed than I would have liked, but they only had two hours, not 600 pages. Second, I would have liked to see the biology room scene where Bella passes out because of blood typing. Third, the lullaby scene was never specified as the lullaby scene. I missed that sweet feeling of heartwretching love in Bella's lullaby. Despite these things, the acting was unbelievable and the entire setting was beautiful. Robert Pattinson's Edward completely draws you in. The emotion is very real and I enjoyed the honest setting of high school. Overall, I give the movie a 9/10. A box office hit, truthfully.

Alright, I pretty much agree that Twilight is a "Skip" movie. Personally, this is the second movie with a good base story that was completely screwed up by director Catherine Hardwick. The lack of flow, the forced atmosphere, were just a few things that really took away from the movie.

The inability for Hardwick to put together scenes that flow together and have smooth transitioning takes away from the movie's enjoyability. Cheesy lines and bad special effects are easy enough to ignore, but when mood and atmosphere are almost non-existent, only being forced upon the audience due to overbearing music, the movie goes out the window.

I guess blaming Hardwick for doing a horrible job on a good to great story is probably going a little far, but hey, she's the director, it's her job to take the heat.

On the sequel, please choose a better director, that can actually DIRECT the actors and create a coherent flow to the overall movie. Not just throw together short scenes of dialogue, that only show the basic outline of the movie. Put some REAL emotion into it.

Seriously people, ignore the skips and sees. That's absolutely stupid. If you want to see the movie (whichever one that may be) then see it and don't be put off by some person's opinion. Yes because it is only their opinion. This consistency to rely on critical reception is rather saddening. If you want to see Twilight then go and see it. The majority of the above critics are too self-important anyway and their reviews make minimal sense half the time. I'm talking to you Variety and you Roger Ebert. Since when does their view on a film matter. Just because they didn't enjoy it doesn't mean you won't.

I read what zac efron said about twilight I mean zac is hot and all that that does not mean he can just come form out of nowhere and say suff about twilight like that. I love Zac efron but twilight is a asuome movie.

TWILIGHT was the best movie of the year. the cast and crew shold win all the Oscar awards this year. I really enjoyed it, and i have read Twilight at least 17 times, so i know exactly what messed up what didn't. i think they did a really good job. if they went according to the book exactly the movie would be 6 to 7 hours long. Not that i mind at all! Remember Twilight.... where love lives forever. Which is what matters!

Twilight is like the best thing ever! if you are a true twilight fan you would be happy that they made it into the movie and besides it doesn't matter what the critics say anyway, they are uaually ALWAYS wrong. If they say that a movie isn't worth going to see, get off ya'lls lazy butts and go see it cause it prolly worth going to see! The guy critics are just jealous of Edward Cullen, and the chick critics are jealous of bella but then who wouldn't be they have THE best realtionship ever! Anyway I have not even heard of this movie ?bolt? idk sounds like a kiddy movie!

What is it that makes these people think their opinions are "word"? I Have watched Twilight atleast three times now and I've loved it every single time! It is such a great way to relax and forget about all the bad stuff that's going on in our everyday lives.

We ALL need fantasy in our lives, we can be young and invulnerable again. Movies are our fountain of youth, if only for an hour or two, we can lose ourselves in them and escape the everyday stresses and boredoms of life.

I have to disagree with ALL the "skips".

You people need to get out from behind your desks (off your high horses) once in a while and check out what's really going on, maybe then you'll appreciate the few moments of peace and pleasure these movies bring to the rest of us.
