Ryan Seacrest & Kara DioGuardi Take The Spotlight During 'American Idol's' Return
In short, if you're any good, "it happens." Ryan is and thus it can happen. Most red carpet mic holders are so safe and buttery that they make the whole "arrivals" thing fodder for haters.
But apparently it's Seacrest's turn in the barrel right now.
Tuesday night he high-fived a blind guy... Hey, it happens. Realizing it quickly, Ryan made up for it by telling the guy and taking his hand to complete the universal sign of approval. Scott McIntyre, the contestant, didn't care... Why should anyone else?
Fact is, "Idol" producers slave over every edit in each episode. It's a
cash cow that employs a lot of people. It proved recession proof last
night. It allowed Kevin Reilly, FOX's entertainment boss, to say FOX has no plans for major cutbacks, (i.e. layoffs). So they left that
whoops-a-daisy in there on purpose. Ryan plays the fool in some of
these early episodes.
So, what's the big deal? I like that Kara DioGuardi called bikini babe a B#?ch! What? That was a first... Good stuff last night.
I spoke to Kara D today...we go back. She was great and I think she's become a tad controversial... to FOX's delight.

About your interview to Golden Globe winner Miss Sally Hawkins.
If "bad manners make a journalist" (Oscar Wilde) you are a journalist par excellence, Mr. Bush.
Congratulations for your interview to The best actress Sally Hawkins.
If your cousin do his job with the same your professionalism
I understand the american crisis. It's not a interview , it's harassment.
