Bush-Jacked! Billy Gets Hit By A Long-Shot!
Justin Long owes me an apology and Ellen owes Justin Long an apology. Neither needs to be a long apology. Ha ha!
Yesterday on "Ellen," Justin shared a story about being on the red carpet at the premiere of "The Break-Up" starring Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston, the film that brought them together as a couple.
Justin said that I had asked him about his worst break-up on the red carpet.
At that moment, his current breakup, unbeknownst to the public, was fresh... the day before. So he began to tell me. He said I was looking over his shoulder at Jennifer Aniston because she had just arrived - i.e. that I was blowing him off.
What kind of vacuous superficial guy would do that?
Apparently me!
Not so!
Today that story made it on AOL's TV Top 5, at #3.

When it aired yesterday on "Ellen," I got a bunch of E-mails and Facebook postings alerting me... and in some cases blasting me (in fun).
We pulled the original, unedited tape of my interview with Justin Long. Never happened. I never asked him about a break-up... We had fun. We talked about Vince Vaughn's torso and other stuff.

In short, the Long-man owes the Bushman an apology for the national TV shot. I can take it.
Oh, but Ellen owes Justin an apology for airing it 'cuz he asked for my name to be bleeped. He asked twice! Ellen said yes. It wasn't. They aren't live so they kept it in on purpose.
Justin, we both got thrown under the bus. You by Ellen and me by you! All in good fun my man.
I await the retraction.
And, if I don't get one, then I'll be the one who's "Just Not That Into You!"
Hope he apologizes soon! Billy anyone that knows you knows you'd never act like that!
Let it go. It is not a big deal. Ellen always says, 'sure' or 'yes' to that kind of question and they never bleep it out so it is expected. Besides weight wise, Jen is way more interesting than Justin Long. Don't get me wrong, Justin is cute and funny but Jennifer is way more interesting right now. So, if I were you, I would just say, "uh, YEAH I watched Jennifer Aniston!" After all from a guys point of view I would say she is probably WAY more fun to watch than Justin! haha Additionally, Justin will need to get used to it cuz, let's face it there will ALWAYS be someone more interesting. That is true for everyone not just him. k. I am done.
Maybe the incident really happened, but with another reporter. Somehow when he got the interviews mixed up! Just seems strange somebody would make up a story like that!

IT'S INTERESTING TO SEE HOW THE BACKDROP OF HOLLYWOOD WORKS. USUALLY WE ONLY SEE THE EDITED SNIPETS OF ALL THE GLAMOUR, BUT NEVER THE PROCESS OF HOW EVERYTHING GETS TO THAT POINT. IT MAKES YOU ALL SEEM MORE LIKE EVERY OTHER AMERICAN WHO GOES ABOUT THEIR DAY-TO-DAY BUSINESS WITHOUT THE GLITZ. THANK YOU FOR THE INSIGHT.
Long day, long hours, long time since the interview. He probably got his story switched up or was just being stupid on the Ellen Show. He shouldn't have said it and I would be hurt if someone accused me of dismissing them. With that being said, if he did just break up, he may have been so distressed that he felt like he wasn't being heard. Either way, it was rude of him to say it in any public forum and it was Distasteful and Irresponsible for Ellen to air it. Its one thing for an audience to think your an A$$, but its another for everyone watching on t.v. to have that perception too.
HAHA! I love fake celebrity feuds.
Completely off topic: You know that Entertainment Tonight has omitted Nancy's name when listing the celebs that will be on DWTS? There are only 12 contestants listed on their website, when there are actually 13. Hilarious! They could have at least mentioned her name (and not necessarily her show)
I saw this! I instantly was wondering why he was saying stuff about you- Ive seen him in interviews with you on the show and you too seemed to get along. i felt the whole interview with ellen was rather mean, to be honest. she took his side- NOT FAIR! they should have at the very least shown some footage or allowed you to respond, but i guess you dont get that. doesnt make sense to me, but as soon as i heard it i thought the whole thing seemed fishy. having seen you on multiple weeknights over the years, it just doesnt seem like behavior that you would exhibit . . . thats just my two cents.
