Tony's Take

Natasha Richardson's Love For Liam Neeson

Comments (7)

Liam Neeson and Natasha Richardson arrive at 'The Other Man' premiere at the Odeon West End on October 17, 2008 in London, EnglandNatasha Richardson... was just remembering standing at a premiere in New York for a Liam Neeson film and seeing Natasha running, literally, from her Broadway theater to make her husband's NY premiere - for the man she loved.

And you should have seen his face as she arrived. What a great couple.

She did the red carpet with him and dashed back to the theater, her theater, to just make the curtain for her play.

Her radiance, his appreciative eyes and their love are what I fondly remember from that night.

My prayers and thoughts are with her family especially her 2 sons, husband and mother at this most difficult time. May they find comfort in recalling her love for life and for them.

You guys have a Toyota ad in the top right area next to the story heading that features downhill skiers. Who was the content editor for that? Very poor form. Toyota has other ads, and someone on your staff should have caught that. Need any help? I'm available.

My husband and I both have always enjoyed all
Liam and Natasha's movies and their careers. My heart is very sad to see such a loss between a great couple. Our best to Liam and their sons.

i'm writing from canada and i can't believe that i AM writing this. if at all possible, please pass this on the family. i am a university professor and i have worked very hard to keep this particular ... ability, quiet. I AM NOT a medium or psychic. I insist upon remaining annonymous! i am, however a sensitive, and despite my efforts to ignore what i am picking up, i can`t, and won`t be able to get a good night`s rest until i have passed the message on to the intended hearers.

please tell Natasha`s hudband that because of the nature of her accident and that she very quickly lost consciousness, she is confused about what happened to her. sometimes the spirit clings to the body and,or family members when death has come too quickly and they`ve not yet accepted their own passing. tmoreover, she cannot accept the thought of leaving her family, even though the only way is forward. this is not good for her--- she needs to move on. the family needs to explicitly let her know that they will always love her and miss her, but that she needs to move on and that they will be okay without her. i know this will be very difficult, but if she (her spirit) stays grounded too long, she won`t be able to cross over...i think they want the best for her.

with condolences, sheila

I feel like one of our family members has passed. My husband and I watch “Parent Trap” at least once a week – it’s our “go-to, feel good, there is love in the world” kind of movie that we watch weekly to escape life’s problems. Natasha was really a part of our family – I was in tears when I heard the news – she was so lovely and such a great actress and more importantly, mother and wife.

I don’t understand, she was so young, so good, such a caring, giving person. I know we are not always meant to understand things that happen in life……..please dear God give Liam, Michael and Daniel strength, courage, comfort and peace as they painfully begin to experience life without their loving mother and beautiful wife.

I would like to extend my greatest sympathy to Natasha's family. May you use the scriptures in the bible comfort you.

The bible as a beautiful hope for our dear love ones a John 5:28, 29. and Revelation 21:3,4 confirms that death will be no more.

May Jehovah God our loving father comfort in you time of grief.
