It's been six-and-a-half years since Anthony Edwards first scrubbed in on the show "ER" as Dr. Mark Greene. Edwards returns to the "ER" this Thursday in an emotional episode in which Angela Bassett's Dr. Cate Banfield recalls the night her 5-year-old son died in the ER at Cook County General Hospital.
Fans of the show will recall that after triumphantly battling brain cancer, Greene died on the beach in Hawaii. Needless to say, Dr. Greene will only be appearing in flashbacks during the episode. They are not resurrecting him from the dead! Edwards is not the only familiar face appearing in this week's episode. I'll leave off just who else might be popping up for you to discover yourself. It's certainly a walk down "ER" memory lane.
Now, I have to admit I haven't watched "ER" since season five. Whether you are a fan of the original team of docs, or you are still watching season 15 all these years later, I think you'll find yourself quite satisfied.

It took five seasons for a female to win "The Biggest Loser" and it may take five more for a guy to gain back the title. Season six is on track to have yet another female winner as all but two of the men on the ranch have been sent packing. So far Adam, Tom Sr., LT, Jerry and Ed have been eliminated leaving just Brady and Phillip behind with the seven remaining ladies.
This week though, the two remaining men were spared and it was 51-year-old stay at home mom Shellay who was sent home, after the newly formed black team failed to win the weigh in. Her daughter, Amy, remains in the competition. Shellay started the show at 220 pounds and is now down in the 150's and wearing a size eight. She plans to be a size six for the December finale and to win the $100,000 at home prize.
"I wake up everyday and I get right into workout clothes. I think healthy and I think working out. My mothers says I'm no fun anymore!"
Being voted off of 'The Biggest Loser" in the very first week of the show hasn't kept married couple Adam and Stacey Capers from working towards their goal. When Adam started on the ranch he was 340 pounds. During last night's final "where are they now segment" he was at 286 pounds. Today he weighs 275 pounds. Stacey was at 221 pounds when she first started. Last night they showed her at 175 pounds. Today she is at 168 pounds!
In a conference call this morning with reporters, Adam told me he hopes to get to his goal weight of 220 for the finale. Stacey couldn't even pick a number because she said, "I have never been this small in my life. All I can do is continue to push through and see where I can get before I start looking real crazy."
So we had to wait through a long strike, but "The Office" is finally back in full force.
After last week's limited cast Dinner Party episode, it was great to see ALL the characters that we love.
And how much do we love Kevin and Phyllis now?
While he usually plays aloof, Kevin revealed his sensitive side was suffering after a recent breakup. And how sweet was his triumph after "winning one" for the team by getting control of the parking lot?
Meanwhile, Phyllis may have one line, but it stole the show as she told Andy to, "make sure you call when you get there, so we know you're OK," after he realized he left his cell phone in his car parked on the street.
And although some fans are finding Jim and Pam's love now stale and static, Jim's engagement ring reveal, and the near proposal, sure changed that!
So thank goodness everyone is back at work, and maybe as the season unfolds we can hear more from the minor players (Stanley… come back!) as we wonder what exactly Creed is going to do with that third office chair?
